Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary

La Cat Connoisseur donates 100% of the profits from “BAJAN CATS ARE PAWESOME” merchandise, to the Ocean Acres Animal Sanctuary.

The sanctuary with the help of volunteers, runs a busy community cat outreach and they hold a clinic for low-cost spaying and neutering. Their incredible work is nothing short of inspiring. Funds raised will go towards maintaining their cattery and outreach work.

If you find yourself on the stunning shores of Barbados, you're encouraged to visit Ocean Acres and spend time with their adorable cats (they have lots of rescue dogs too).

Safe Cats of Barbados

Safe Cats of Barbados focuses on managing the stray cat population through a humane Trap, Neuter, Release (TNR) program, which stabilizes and maintains healthy colonies. They collaborate with hotels and restaurants to ensure the well-being of both cats and guests, as cats help control pests.

Their mission includes finding homes for abandoned cats and kittens, educating pet owners on responsible care, and assisting animals in need. They also arrange travel for cats with homes in the U.S. and support visitors interested in adopting cats to take back to the UK, USA, or Canada.
